I fell and the ambulance took me to Woodlands Methodist. After scans and all that it was determined that I broke the top of my femur at the neck. Dr Allahabadi came in, spoke to us about what he had to do and we understood it. He explained how he was going to fix it, how long and what the healing time was. He took his time in surgery and I even got disposable stitches instead of staples. He was pleased when I walked to the end of the hall the next morning so I was discharged to go home and have outpatient therapy. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Allahabadi. Confident. Humble. Compassionate. Those are only a few attributes of Dr Allahabadi as a human being and a surgeon. There are not enough positive words I, nor my husband, can say about Dr. Allahabadi. He is truly a gifted surgeon with expertise who put my husband’s shattered patella and tibia back together. He reassured both of us before surgery what he was going to do. He very patiently answered all of my questions and concerns putting us at ease. After surgery he met me, as most surgeons do, to let you know how surgery went. However, Dr. Allahabadi’s bedside manner and compassion is like no other doctor we have seen before. He again reassured me and answered questions as he did upon our follow up visit. Dr. Allahabadi seen me for my foot recently. This was my first ever experience with this doctor. I absolutely will be keeping this physician in mind with any orthopedic needs! He was very explanatory with my exam and images. He offers wonderful education and literature in regards to your injury. You definitely feel safe under his care! My main highlight was his head staff nurse Kimberly. She made me feel comfortable when she triaged me. At the end of my visit she even noticed something on my ortho boot that was off and fixed me up before leaving my appointment. I’m obsessed with Methodist and their wonderful hospitality. Dr. Allahabadi is great! I have NEVER had a doctor PERSONALLY call me themselves. He called me, on a Sunday, prior to my Tuesday surgery and the day after surgery .Making sure I understood what the surgery was, what will happen during and what will happen after. He also wanted to make sure any questions I may have had, were answered. He made me feel safe and secure in the decision I made in having my arthroscopic knee surgery. 11 days in and only using one crutch, minimal about of pain and ready to start pt. Dr. Allahabadi is a very conscientious young doctor. He is rare these days in the fact that he pulls up a chair and listens to the patient talk. He thoroughly explains his thoughts and in my first visit, he even used models to explain the damage in my shoulder. His staff in my experience this past year have been first rate as well. Highly recommend Dr Allahabadi! He was quick to respond to our initially inquiry and was able to successfully repair my husband’s ruptured tricep tendon.
