Dr. Sachin Allahabadi Shares Sports Medicine Research at AOSSM 2026
Dr. Sachin Allahabadi attended the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, July 8–11, 2026. He was a coauthor of two posters focused on helping patients return to activity after lower extremity injuries.
The first, Return to Sport after Tibial Shaft Fractures: A Systematic Review, examined published evidence on how often athletes return to sport and how long recovery takes after a fracture of the shinbone. The second, Pediatric Posterior Ankle Arthroscopy: Indications and Outcomes, studied outcomes of a minimally invasive ankle procedure in children and adolescents.
The meeting offered an opportunity to share this work with sports medicine colleagues and discuss research that can help guide care for active patients of all ages.
