Sachin Allahabadi, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and joint preservation. He practices in The Woodlands, TX, where he provides expert care for athletes and active individuals.

As part of his practice, Dr. Allahabadi serves as an assistant team physician for the Houston Astros and, during his fellowship at Rush University, cared for professional athletes as a team physician for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, and Chicago Fire Football Club. While he has extensive experience treating elite athletes, he is equally dedicated to caring for anyone with orthopedic needs—from high-level competitors to weekend warriors to patients simply wanting to return to an active, pain-free lifestyle.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Allahabadi is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. He regularly leads trainings for residents and fellows, sharing both his technical expertise and his patient-centered approach to care.

Outside the Operating Room

Outside of his surgical practice, Dr. Allahabadi enjoys spending time with his wife, their three dogs, and their family and friends. An athlete at heart, he loves playing basketball and staying active at the gym. He also enjoys exploring Houston’s vibrant food scene and discovering new restaurants.
